great piece Henry.
Henry, BOTH Silvio Rodriguez and that freak Amaury signed the damn letter supporting the summary execution of 3 young black guys for the “crime” of trying to flee Castro’s slave plantation (I believe the mother of one of them committed suicide as a result). The letter was also signed by many other Cuban “artists” and “intellectuals,” including that hideous old witch Alicia Alonso, who’s always lived like a queen WAY above “proletarian” peons, and Mr. Old Havana himself, Eusebio Leal, who also has a pretty nice racket going.
