  1. I like Sarah. I love her spunk. Dig her philosophy + wear her t-shirts. I like the way she beats the media at her game. I want her to RUN; supported her in 2008; walked under the hot sun with her signs; voted for McCain only because she was on the ticket. But her long delay in announcing a run is getting stale; she’s too smart not to have decided already one way or the other. And it’s ludicrous for her to say she’s not stealing the spotlight, because that’s all she’s doing. Sell more books, get more face time to make more $$$$, be a rock star, that’s fine. But at this point, with the crises we face, her masked indecision begins to annoy me; she’s teasing the base when she should be participating in debates. She’s been gone to AK for weeks and all of a sudden pulls up her Greyhound into Iowa just in time for the caucuses – what a coincidence. Are we stupid? No! She’s getting attention (and that’s ok), but it’s best to lead, follow, or get out of the way. I’ve noticed she doesn’t show up in small races, she shows up among the presidential candidates; if she wants to help conservatives win Congress next year, she can shore up support for House and Senate candidates in those races that we need to win. It would be a better use of time, assuming she doesn’t want the spotlight…… yeah. C’mon, mija, say it. Or leave. As my grandma used to say, O se peina o se hace papelillos. Personally, I’d like to see a Palin/Perry ticket if Marco doesn’t run.

  2. Palin is good, but I’m afraid she may overestimate her hand. It’s not advisable to try to be too clever by half.
