“President Fidel Castro and I got along very well,” (Alvaro Uribe in new confessional book)

“Yes, it’s me?”

“Aaaah! I just KNEW you’d be awake! You’re a night owl just like me.”

It was Fidel Castro calling…..the President and I got along very well –to the surprise of many. And during the last few years we spoke often.”

Uribe’s “confession” from his new book, here in Spanish.

But recently Fidel Castro denounced Uribe as a mass-murderer:

Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro Monday criticized the appointment of ex-Colombian President Alvaro Uribe to a UN panel probing Israel’s attack on a humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza in May.

“That decision gave Uribe — accused of war crimes — total impunity, as if a country full of mass graves containing the corpses of murdered people, some with as many as 2,000 victims, and seven Yankee military bases, plus the rest of the Colombian military.

Oh the games people (especially politicians) play now
Every night and every day now
Never meaning what they say now
Never saying what they mean

La-da da da da da da da
La-da da da da da de
Talking ’bout you and me
And the games people play…

But, given his record, I’m guessing Uribe meant every word (about Castro) he wrote in his book…now

Granted, in “respectable” Cuban exile circles Uribe really struck a chord. Here (FINALLY!–AL FIN! GRACIAS A DIOS!!!) was an anti-Castroite Lateeeeno of respectable pedigree!!!–unlike those chusmas insoportables (!!!) Pinochet and Somoza…..

  1. This is political bisexuality, and fake at that, as a lame and pathetic attempt to fit in and be “respectable” in a Latrine American context–where being unequivocally anti-Castro is worse than pedophilia (ask Daniel Ortega). These people are SO screwed up it’s mind-boggling. No wonder their history is what it is. Again, don’t even think of calling me “Latin.” I reject these people utterly and want nothing to do with their grotesque dysfunction.
