Obama Takes Credit for “Democracy” in Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood Style

hey o

Day five in the latest Clash of The Egyptians.

Two years after Egypt’s revolution Obama is comfortable taking “leadership” credit in booting-out Egyptian President Mubarak, and helping make way for the Muslim Brotherhood to take power in the country…

“You know, when it comes to Egypt, I think, had it not been for the leadership we showed, you might have seen a different outcome there.”

And it is working out so well. Oh yes, new “democracies” have growing pains. However, I guess some Obama will take full credit for, and others not-so-much

President Obama, while discussing the Benghazi terrorist attack, commented on the difficulty of knowing that someone in the federal government is making a mistake at all times.

Obama remembered a conversation he had with then-Defense Secretary Robert Gates shortly after he took office.

“And he says, ‘Mr. President, one thing I can guarantee you is that at this moment, somewhere, somehow, somebody in the federal government is screwing up,’” Obama said on CBS’s 60 Minutes last night.”And, you know you’re– and so part of what you’re trying to do is to constantly improve systems and accountability and transparency to minimize those mistakes and ensure success. It is a dangerous world.”

When Obama last appeared on “60 Minutes” to discuss Benghazi, he was one of the people “screwing up” in the federal government, as he refused to concede that the Benghazi assault was a terrorist attack.

However, Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi appear to be performing a partial birth abortion on any sort of recognizable democracy. This is, not so surprisingly, not going over well with anti-Morsi Egyptians who fear for their safety and liberty. The Islamic revolution and transformation of Egypt continues (and the resistance grows) under threats of violence and death threats to Morsi’s secular opposition and to Coptic Christians by new and growing Jihadist groups within the country.

The current civil unrest situation in Egypt is melting down so badly and is escalating so dramatically that Morsi has declared a state of emergency in at least three Egyptian cities, and it does not look as if the situation will ease-up anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration (and especially new Secretary of State Kerry-Heinz) is not swayed in the least by the growing national and civil instability in Egypt, or by Pres. Morsi’s “decedents of apes and pigs” rants about Israel and the Jews, and other anti-Semitic claims. So much so that he is still sending Egypt F-16 fighter jets and tanks. Isn’t that something? Obama is hurrying to remove our guns here in America, but he has no problem arming the Muslim Brotherhood with high-powered weapons of real assault and war amid their country’s leader’s continual threats to Israel.

Another striking claim came from Obama during the “60 Minutes” interview:

“We do nobody a service when we leap before we look, where we take on things without having thought through all the consequences of it…”

Chew on that for a moment or two, and ponder the last nearly five years where everything he and his administration have done has been an emotional-driven approach into a crisis with “executive” overreach and a “leap” over the US Constitution and our rights … the current gun control move, for instance.

Now … Some would see these as more of Obama’s foreign policy failures, just as they see his economic policies, and even his alleged bipartisan attempts with the GOP, as first term failures. However, you and I know it’s all going according to plan. One man’s failures are another man’s successes at fundamental transformation. You and I know the Cuba of the last 50-odd years is not a communist-castro failure. It is exactly what they intended Cuba to become, and where they wanted the Cuban people to be.
