I know, sometimes we might feel these little arranged surprise public military homecomings are a bit ‘invading of privacy’ of the families. However, we feel your fear and anxiety and worry when our troops are deployed. We feel your pain and imagine your great loss if your loved one(s) do not return home. Please understand and allow us the thrill and joy and relief when they do return home, if only for a moment.
