Castro Kingdom boasts of three encounters with enemies of the USA, all in a single day

Guiness Book of World Records editors, jot this down:

Three news stories surfaced on August 5, and all of them had to do with the Castro Kingdom’s courtship dance with three regimes that are not exactly on good terms with the United States.

Why are these three encounters being publicized at a time when the Castronoid authorities are busy “dialoguing” with the USA, seeking a full remission of all of the sanctions imposed on them by the Yanqui “imperialists” to the north?  Why pile all of this on top of the Chan Chang Gong sugary armaments flap?

These encounters do not have to be publicized, after all.

Could it be that King Raul has decided to sabotage all talks and keep the status quo in place for another half a century?  After all, without a monster to the north, what excuse will he have for all of the repression?  His older brother pulled stunts like this continually, and sabotaging attempts at reconciliation with the USA became one of his chief obsessions, and also a key element of his foreign policy.

The ships were saluted by a parade of military cannons, a naval band and a few hundred people as they pulled into the Bay of Havana.

  1. Come on. North Korea, Iran, and Russia are paying good money for information picked up by Cuba’s listening devices. Big deal.
