yes, he also recently announced that he wanted to turn latin america into another vietnam. or was that chavez? it's hard to keep them straight these days.

not sure what he means. does he mean millions of dead latin americans in bloody civil wars? cuz that's what vietnam was.

Could have been either one of the two to make that statement. Although, to be honest, I find it difficult to believe Fidel would make such a political foible like that. Unless, of course, he really is dillusional.

I don't think Chavez has the intelligence and saavy that Castro has. He is probably still in power because of Castro and his "diplomats" (used unbelievably loosely as they are more strongarm henchmen than anything else)stationed in Venezuela.

Not sure whether to laugh or to cry...

The man is dillusional. And I love how at the end of the article they call Elian's attempt at freedom in this country a "kidnapping".

You drove me to buy a pressure cooker for making boliche. I'm trying it now. It better work, or you'll have some explaining to do!

Steve,
You're making boliche? What time should I be over?

Oh, and feel free to say 'splainin. This is, after all, Babalu.
