Back in the early 90s, I was working for a magazine and we had a pool going of when he would kick-off. I lost the pool four years ago (I said April 2000) but I think our editor is still in the running. As I recall, he said Castro would live forever because his cronies would just stuff him and place him before the dias with prerecorded mumbo-jumbo until the stuffing started to show. Val, I have a serious question on the topic.

What do you think will happen in Cuba in the days and perhaps the first three months after his (can't happen soon enough!) death?

Spontaneous joy and celebration in the streets?

Immediate crushing put downs by the army?

Surely, there are undercurrents of thought and quietly spoken words regarding; "what, after".

Whatever occurs, I hope the people of Cuba are ready for their entire world to change. For one way or another, it surely will when that bearded shit at long laast flushes himself down the toilet bowl of history.
