I was just looking at some pictures from 9/11 yesterday and had the same reaction I did today. It all seems so surreal. I keep asking msyelf. Did this really happen? How long ago was that, exactly? It's so weird isn't it? I don't think people have "forgotten" necessarily. I think the psychi pain is too great and comprehending it is too great a task so we put it in its special compartment in order to get by. - Getting chills just thinking about it and how I felt that day and the months afterward and the six months it took me to finally break down and cry about it.

It makes me physically ill, my abdomen knots up and I get this horrible sinking feeling...everytime I think about that day.
