Great article...

My beliefs cause me to fall on the "man is basically mean" belief. I've read too much and seen too much of life to ever think man was basically good. Good tendencies, yes...good nature, no.

These debates are starting to take their toll on me. I'm worried for our country. There are so many people who seem to want us to fail. They actually prefer failure in Iraq to a second term. I'd prefer Bush lose if it was a choice between success for our troops and him...but the left has gone all Chomsky/Moore on us. Aid and comfort...it's apalling. -s
