Climate of Fear and Hate in America
Kerry/Edwards supporters destroy this little girls Bush/Cheney sign while waiting for Edwards to make and appearance in West Virginia.

I'm with Steve on this: I wish I had been there, because I would have kicked their teeth in and faced the judge with a satisfied smile.

Proof again that free speech is only for some and not all. I sent an email the Union the idiot is representing via his t-shirt. I don't know if the people behind the girl are yelling AT the girl or because the idiot to the left ripped her sign. Either way - it's supposed to be a free country with free speech, but, only if you HATE GWB.

Damn! they could not get one puppy dog or a bunny rabbit to go with the crying child. What were they thinking?

ps all politics aside, if someone took a sign from my child's hands. I would rip their head off their shoulders and shove it up their ass.

I'd do what Tom said. However, I would never have taken my child to a rally like that to begin with and exploit her in such a manner that would prove provocative and subsequently dangerous to her person.

J. Scott, I thought that myself. The Dad is kind of nuts for taking his daughter to a rally like that, but he has every right to go. It was an unwise decision on the Dad's part, but certainly no blame for this incident should fall on his shoulders. If we start assigning blame to him, that is a lot like blaming a girl for getting raped becuase she wore slutty clothes. Besides, what does it say about Democrats in general that fathers should think twice before taking their daughters to their political rallies.
On a personal note, I know of two people who have had their cars vandalized because they had Bush stickers on them. In both cases people did damage while removing the stickers while the cars were parked outside. I don't know of any case where the opposite is true, and I live in the heart of Kerryland. In my office, somebody put up a Bush poster at his desk. The poster was defaced within a day. The Kerry/Edwards poster down the hall in another office is still there and has yet to have obscenities written on it. This is no way a scientific study, but in my personal observations, these actions seem to impart a trend. Remember Dems, actions speak louder than words.
