Aha!!! So that's it!!!
Yesterday, in this post, I asked why it is that some people hate us Miami Cubans so much.
Well, Steve's got the answer, and then some:
...They left because Democrats hate Cubans. You think I'm kidding? Ask anyone who lives down here. Democrats hate Cubans because they're Hispanics who take care of themselves. To a Democrat, that somehow seems unfair.Cuban-hating Democrats moved to Broward from Dade, and as Cubans move to Broward, they're moving to Orlando. To be closer to Disney World, where Democrat policies still seem to make sense.
UPDATE!!!!: The plot thickens!!! Michael Moore to protest in Broward county over missing ballots. Quick, broward readers, HIDE YOUR FOOD!!!

I must be missing something.
Are their places Cubans can't live, go to school?
Are they stopped for driving while Cuban?
Are they kept from jobs in government?
Are they immediately paroled into the community,
rather than being placed in some detention facility and probably deported?
When a Cuban arrives here can they get
Social Security, Green cards, Medicaid,
and welfare.
Can Cubans apply for citizenship after one year?
Other immigrants may think these privledges are
something they would like and may resent Cubans
exalted status. Do Chileans Brazilians Mexicans
Russians Haitians hate Cubans?
You want people to unilaterally, accept your politics? That is a rio de suenos,
a river of dreams.
This is America and Americans have despicable hateful names for every group they can identify.
Stop bitching and realize you have been given and continue to get more from the US gov and the American people than any other immigrant group.
Are you sure "they" hate Cubans?

I have a couple of ideas who "guest" might be. Can't wait to see if you are able to restrain yourself Val. Suffice to say we are talking about moving out, not calling names. It's the same story in all large cities with a large latino population. I say good riddance. la gente de los países latinos es agradable en mi vecindad, Los Ángeles.

Lo siento, guest, but I live the American dream every day, and I am boricua. I don't need anything from the government.
Someone once told me that the Cuban is nicknamed, "the Caribbean Jew." No offense here. But I wonder if guest is posting all this out of plain, unadulterated ENVIDIA.
