I would anyway, given that the Packers suck.

I picked GB in my pool at word, as did my wife, prior to seeing the streak story last week. Washington is a lock. I can't win crap in my pool.

Green Bay wins.
But don't fear...streaks don't last forever. For example:
1. No team has ever come back in a MLB 7-game series from a 0-3 deficit to win the series. 2004: red Sox beat NY, 4-3
2. Red Sox: 86 years without a World Series win in four appearances.
3. Until last Sunday, Jacksonville hadn't scored on their initial possesion in 20 games. Scored twice in the first quarter in beating Indy.
4. Eventually, Fidel will die.

Feel better?

One more: from a post on my site about last year's Kentucky Derby results:
The history defied yesterday by Funny Cide came in two categories. First, he was the first gelding to win the Derby since 1929, but that was also a big knock on Buddy Gil, who figured to be in this a bit more due to his outstanding recent performances. That Buddy Gil went off at 7-1 was likely a testament to the "geldings-don't-win-the-Derby" theory than to his ability. Funny Cide's second history-breaker was that he was the first New York-bred horse to ever win the Derby over 129 tries.

The longer they last, the easier they break.

Well, we know who to blame if Kerry wins, now. As a Dallas fan, I hell-hate the Redskins, and I'd forgotten about that little presidential trend.
