Brace for Impact, Venezuela
Hold your lunches, folks:
Dime con quien andas, y te dire quien eres.
And there you have it. Hugo Chavez donning the prolific-through-idiocy Che shirt.
Coincidentally, my wife happens to be a realtor and, browsing through one of her trade magazines I read where Hugo Chavez was voted as realtor of the year in some contest. Not because he actually sold any real estate, but because he was responsible for much of the new real estate being sold to many Venezuelans here in South Florida.
Gracias, Hugo. And keep 'em coming will ya, I could use a bigger boat.

scribe,
If you think Cuba seems to be an incredible culture now, you should have seen it before castro destroyed it.
And seriously, can we dispense with the "he looks like a monkey" thing. This aint the first grade anymore.

Why are dictators of the left not scorned in the same way as those of the right? Was General Pinochet in his 17 years in power, less cruel or less bloody than Fidel Castro has been in his four decades ruling Cuba? Che is idolized by many when all he did was murder the innocent!

Manny has a point. It's incredible how easy is to condem people like Pinochet but nobody says anything about Fidel. The worst part is that every president in Latinamerica must invite Castro to their inauguration ceremony, in order to get a shower of anti americanism. Sad, very sad indee.

i have been logging on to this blog almost obsessesively since i found it.the blog on che is what hit the spot. so yeaterday at work, a young man was standing outside my shop and he was wearing a che t-shirt. i was furious and wanted to verbally attack him, but i had a client sitting in my chair and didnt want to cause a scene.Next time though i promised myself i would not let that happen again. i would love some words of wisdom on the subject, im not into shouting or using foul language to get my point across, i would preffer to come across as a better person than the one wearing che on his chest. Any advice?
