In praise of Real Men

Jose Maria Aznar. He may not be prime minister of Spain anymore, but that doesn't stop him from remaining a leader. Spain's craven voters - who had to be out of their minds - threw him out of power at al Qaida's 'request' last March after getting the terrorists' train bomb 'message' a couple days before an election. In that travesty, the brave righteous Aznar lost.

But Aznar remains our friend and he is still as magnificent as the bug-eyed weasel who succeeded him, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, is ugly and puny.

Unlike that little puke, Spain's former prime minister, Aznar, continues to stand up to human garbage like castro and shove it right in their faces. Here is what brave former Prime Minister Aznar had to say today to the Monster At Our Door:

Aznar said that under his administration, Spain stood proudly with the two strongest democracies in the world, the United States and Great Britain. And now, he said, Spain stands with Cuba and Venezuela, countries he called bedfellows in exporting trouble throughout Latin America. ...

''I was in Mexico last week, and I told them you and I have a right to be free, why deny that right to Cubans?'' Aznar said. ``I'll keep saying it all the time, I don't care if Castro insults me every day.'' ...

He said Spain and the European Union should not forge closer ties to Cuba because only Cuba will benefit, and nothing will change while Castro is in power. Aznar distanced Spain diplomatically from Cuba after Castro's government jailed 75 dissidents in 2003.

Is that a man or what? Anzar's saying what needs to be said, doesn't care what fidel 'thinks,' continues knocking sense into Europe and the rest of the hemisphere and warns them all that that this ogre is not their answer. I can't say a whole lot more except that, wow! Let's praise real men here! Is this a real man? I'm just glad to know there's a few left in Spain who still know what cojones are. Go, Aznar!

Speaking of cool things from Spain, my favorite writer, Carlos Alberto Montaner, has a good essay out today on Cuba, and he shares the same thoughts about the doltish Europeans, warning, like Aznar, that castro can't be negotiated with and if they are serious about 'dialogue' on human rights, they have no business trying to reason with castro's minions but must insist that castro dialogue with his opposition. THAT would be showing seriousness. There's also a funny detail about what castro did to his last minion, some guy named Robaina, who didn't act sycophantic enough - castro took him from his foreign minister job and made him 'parks director.' I think Stalin did that to Molotov once.

Think Europe will take Montaner up on it? Well, no. There's that real-man shortage over there. But these two have spoken up today in an edifying hammerblow for victory. Viva Aznar! Viva Montaner!

The "clown government" of Zapatero (has somebody notices how he resembles Mr Bean???) has routinely ignored the connectin between ETA and Al-Qaeda. And the connection between ETA and cagastro... What else is he is ignoring? The gallantry of the Spanish spirit!

The guy is every bit as stupid as he looks. But ten times the malevolence. What on earth got into Spain. I am just waiting for them to come to their senses, that zapatero is so beneath his office! Very un-Spain if you ask me, more insect kingdom maybe.

Oye, anybody catch WEST WING, on NBC at 9pm?

Coño I missed it, but I read the info and it said something about The President continuing secret talks with "Cuba's Ailing Dictator" and dropping the embargo...blah blah blah...

Val you're right, but I think something saved me from breaking another remote, for I missed the showing due to "El Mikimbin de Miami" show on channel 41 (on DirecTV). I guess I'll have to see the rerun of that communist Sh*t. It's on Friday's right?

.....oh and for Spain, son otro pila de communistas, y a quien no le gusten, mete te el dedo en el, Ya Tu Sabes...lol

With our help, Aznar would've ousted Castro and Chavez. But NO freakin' pussies had to kick Aznar out and put in the Wussy Communist Zapatero "Shoe Maker"

WILL There Be No Justice in the WORLD. Tune in next time to: MAFIA de MIAMI Episode: 46 "When Tyrants drool."

All those european fools who invest in and loan money to Castro's regime must think he will last forever. What a rude shock they are going to get when the communist scum are finaly overthrown. All the debt repudiated and contracts canceled . Just remember the concept of odious debt originated in Cuba.

Like the old saying goes, Aznar may be little but he IS fierce!
As he well pointed out, why hasn’t Zapatero continued the investigation into the 3/11 bombings?
Not ONE clue has been made public, not one arrest in fact the investigations have CEASED!
A genocide that changes the course of an election (and
Spanish history)and the person who benefited the MOST from 120 deaths is NOT investigating HOW the fuck he got into office?
Something rotten in Madrid I smell.

PS- Anyone ever notice how much Zapatero looks like Mr. Bean ? Check this out!

Zapatero really does suck. As Aznar points out, he literally swapped standing side by side with the US and UK for standing side by side with filthy castro and his Houseboy in Caracas. That's the deliberate choice he made. It boggles the mind that someone could be so darn dumb.

Good point about the unsolved 3/11 attacks, bin laden must be so proud. Not only have these scumbags gotten away with it, ETA has noticed what's going on with Mister Bean and starting bombing things again too. Born in terrorism, that guy has unleashed more terrorism on Spain and I just long for the days when Spaniards get sick of it and throw this vile creature out on his culo.

And I thought I was the only one who noticed that Mr Bean thing.

Posted by: Jay at March 17, 2005 04:15 AM

Remember that guy posting here who was praising Zapa-terrier for refusing to kiss our asses? As if standing up to people who kill Spaniards were an act of craven cowardice and abject subjugation to the United States - God save us, and that horribly confused poster, and Spain, from that kind of idiotic unreason.

When anti-Americanism reaches the point that you'll fawn over people who murder you in order to spite America's face, it's a psychosis. And Zapatero and the misguided souls who put him in office are the symptom.

I just wanted to make a slight correction. Aznar did not run against Zapatero. His party lost the election but he was not the candidate as he was not seeking re-election (not sure if that was by choice or law).

Posted by: fishfan at March 17, 2005 02:20 PM

Oh that's right - i'll amend the thing.

Posted by: A.M. Mora y Leon at March 17, 2005 02:22 PM

So now i guess we can consider spain a terrorist nation since fidels cuba is one. Oh yeah and by the way I was thinking that maybe the reason bin laden hasn't been found in iraq or afghanistan is because he's in cuba running his operation from there. Hum, wouldn't that be interesting.

Well we ARE assuming that bin-Ladin was the mastermind of the massacre but.
I am always suspicious of the guy who has the most to gain after any crime.
“Motive my dear Watson, MOTIVE”

Aznar had ETA on the run, his loyalty to the USA was getting him MASSIVE USA intelligence and ETA was so crippled there wasn’t much they could do while Aznar (or his party) had the support of the USA & the UK. If you are a terrorist in Spain and you know that while the Aznar party is in power your days are counted, what is the logical (albeit salvage) course of action? 120 dead? Small price to pay to get an illiterate communist sympathizer with an massive anti-american chip on his weenie shoulders in power. And man, the terrorists read the Spanish people like a book and Zapatero did NOT disappoint them

His first (Zapetero's) "official act was to piss off the USA, the USA naturally withdrew all intelligence information (including satellite surveillance) and there is ATA at it again. Was it Bin-Ladin, was it ATA? Terrorist are all beasts of the same caliber and like any vermin they like each other’s company
When you see a terrorist group like the IRA in Ireland, renounce terrorism ‘cause it just had gotten "way out of hand" and they did not want to be thrown in the same lump as the AL-Qaedas & ETAs of the world, you damn well know that the Irish were denouncing a barbaric cult that not even THEM (and the IRA was one of the most determined terrorist groups in history) could stomach.
The Spanish people are in such dire straits economically, financially and politically that no-one can believe Mr. Bean-light could've done so much damage in one year! You know what,? THEY DESERVE IT!
Humanity has such a short historical grasp, they keep giving the left “another chance” SPAIN of all countries to side with Communism! But fortunately after Zapatero is gone it will be a LONG time before anything smelling of “socialism” makes its way into La Moncloa.
We in the USA went through that memory lapse with Clinton; I don’t see another “democRAT” in the white house for a LOOOOONG time

Aznar left a vibrant, burgeoning Spain. The “socialists” have torn it down to pieces. Somehow I don’t feel bad for the Spaniards. “He who is not willing to die for freedom does NOT deserve freedom.”
El Cid and Franco must be spinning in their graves at supersonic speed.

PS- How pissed must Mr. Bean be that that Spaniard "chorizo" looks like him!

Posted by: KillCastro at March 17, 2005 03:48 PM

Killcastro, is that chorizo, or chilito?

Posted by: Bill H at March 18, 2005 09:28 AM

Hmmm "Chilito" is not part of my vocabulary , sorry . But indeed I should've said "MOJON"
