No digo yo..

If your country sells its medical personnel and what little supplies it has for oil, then something's gotta give:

SANTA CLARA, Cuba April 14 (Niurvys Díaz Remond, Cubanacán Press / www.cubanet.org) - Patients of the 20th Anniversary polyclinic in Santa Clara complain bitterly about the low quality of the service rendered at the facility.

A patient that waited for a blood pressure reading complained that the nurse was preoccupied with a relative that had facilitated for her an appointment to see a dentist.

'I'm on my lunch hour,' said an emergency doctor without stopping in front of a patient. The patient was labeled crazy for criticizing the government for her mistreatment.

Doctors and other medical personnel are also unhappy on account of the chronic scarcity of medicines as well as of other materials. Supplies, in many cases, have been sent to other countries as aid.
