Hey Val try some strong cuban coffee... no joke... the caffeine helps migranes and I get them often and it really helps. The fact that the light bothers your eyes probably means its a migrane. GOOD LUCK!!! Feel better... we need you very much!

This is why I rarely think.

I recommend at least three Budweisers.

I'm so sorry you feel bad. Strong tea with lemon and sugar helps (because what kind of freak could drink tea with no sugar and lemon :) Jenny's right about the caffeine, but tea also has the advantages of tannins and being a good anti-inflamatory.

To make REAL southern tea (ie, GOOD tea): Boil 2/3 cup of sugar in two cups of water until the sugar dissolves. Add tea bags. I like five "family" size bags (Liptons). Ignore for about ten minutes. Remove tea bags (without squeezing, icky dregs). Add 14 cups of water to make a gallon of tea. (Add only 6 cups of water if you're making it for a headache, and drink it all ASAP)

Te acuerdas del ARNICA que te ponian en Cuba pa' cualquier cosa, de una mordida de mosquito a una partia' de brazo ?

Well I found that GNC sells ARNICA tablets ! tiny little pills you put under your tongue and let dissolve.
This AM I had the MOTHER of headaches (whatta koinky-dinky I am WAY too tense !) and 4 of those tiny things and two Tylenol (the new FAST ACTING) and within 5 minutes all good and well)

The Arnica at GNC is called ARNICA MONTANA 30X

The caffeine is also a good treatment although my GALLEGO dad used to tell me it had to be COLD coffee so he used to put two ice cubes in a cup of VERY STRONG Cuban cofee . Great for toothaches also.

I needed an aspirin to get over the incredible excitement I felt about this new pope, the man who engineered the Vatican's stinging rebuke of Daniel Ortega and Liberation Theology. Slimey fidel castro and his Houseboy in Caracas have some dark days ahead. There's nothing good for them coming from this new pope. VIVA IL PAPA!

I will be a much better pope, once we get this impostor recalled.
