More on HRes 193 IH

House of Representatives Resolution HRES 193 IH to support the Assembly to Promote the Civil Society in Cuba on May 20, 2005, in Havana passed. The nays were all Democrats with the exception of one Libertarian on the Republican side.

The legislation passed with 392 supporters--and 22 opponents.

Those voting "nay" included the following Democrats: Reps. John Conyers (Mich.), Sam Farr (Calif.), Maurice Hinchey (N.Y.), Stephanie Tubbs Jones (Ohio), Carolyn Kilpatrick (Mich.), Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), Barbara Lee (Calif.), Jim McDermott (Wash.), Cynthia McKinney (Ga.), Gregory Meeks (N.Y.), George Miller (Ga.), John Olver (Mass.), Donald Payne (N.J.), Charlie Rangel (N.Y.), José Serrano (N.Y.), Pete Stark (Calif.), Edolphus Towns (N.Y.), Tom Udall (N.M.), Nydia Velázquez (N.Y.), Maxine Waters (Calif.), and Lynn Woolsey (Calif.).

Joining the "nays" was Texas Republican Ron Paul, a maverick libertarian. Meanwhile, Wisconsin Democrat Gwen Moore voted "present."

It isnt surprising that the Democrats, led by such stalwart lovers of freedom and supporters of minorities such as Maxine Waters voted nay to offer support for dissidents and freedom in Cuba. They are, after all, nothing but castro supporters and apologists.

So, in their honor, I humbly offer to repost the official seal of the Democratic Party:

No surprises there...
That bunch is very homogeneous in political terms, all are stauch cagastro supporters.

The nomination of Bolton passed from the Committee to the Congress with no endorsement. Let's see what happens. High time to have an ambassador at UN that is not friendly to cagastro.

Val, they are all hypocrites as you well know, they don't care about the people all they are concerned with is promoting there socialist agenda, and they are socialist no matter what anyone says.

I'd like to say that I'm not surprised but I am. It's one thing to want to lower the embargo, restore diplomatic relations and take away travel restrictions but another thing to not sign a resolution which has no weight that gives moral support for people that are trying to create a civil society in a totalitarian state.

I'm reading Humberto Fontova's book now and I swear if I ever see any of these characters up close and in person I'm going to introduce them to a knuckle sandwich.

They voted to help South Africa and Hiati but never Cuba because they must obey their Satanic master Fidel Castro Ruz the most powerful being in the universe! (sarcasm)

I will say it again - there needs to be a list so when Cuba becomes free again these tyranny supporters will not be let into Cuba.

Actually they should all be tired in a court in absense and accused of helping foster human rights abuses and crimes against the people of Cuba.

Who is with me to start this movement!?

Sounds good to me Mario. I'm writing all of them to let them know in very plain words exactly what they've done. The great thing about our country is the freedom to choose what we believe and what we support, with this comes accepting responsibility for how our choices effect our fellow humans. They absolutely should be held accountable for their collaboration with the evil bastard.

You have the right idea Kathleen I'm going to start writing too.
Mario: One day Cuba will be free and I was thinking how great it would be not to grant any of these idiots visa, or grant them the visa and arrest them when they come to Cuba, Try them and sentence them to never be allowed to set foot in our country again. Declare them Persona Non Grata.

It comes down to envy especially those 2 Nyricans

Living in New Jersey I tried to email Donald Payne, but ofcourse his website was down. Always turns the stocmach to know that people like Payne and Rangel can decry the plight of people of African ancestry all over the world except when it comes to the Island of Cuba. There hatred for there country and especially anything backed by the right in this country allows them to turn there backs on all the Afro Cubans suffering under the tyrant. As the Arab saying goes-the enemy of my enemy is my friend.- Castro and the likes of Rangel and Payne unite against there enemy to the detriment of all the people of Cuba. The previous statements were so very true. People such as Serrano, Payne, and Rangel et al. should be viewed at best and enablers and worse as accomplices.

My congressman was one of the sponsors. I'm going to write him thanking him for his stand. While you folks are writing, you might write the folks you agree with, too.

Why not list them as aiders and abetters of genocide? These Demokratzis love screeching "genocide!" when some politically-incorrect (to them) head of state, leader, whatever the title, does something "they" don't like, no matter how remote the connection to actual genocide. So,I say put them on a database as aiders and abetters of genocide against the Cuban people. Then, let them face a Nuremberg-style tribunal in a free Cuba to answer for this. If "they" are not present for sentencing, no problem, sentence them in absentia. Then borrow a page from the Israelis and "Eichmann" them, bring them in to face their just punishment. Let the Cuban people vote what that punishment should be, then apply it swiftly and mercilessly.

Note: If I had the talent, I would modify the seal of the "Demokratzik" party you have posted by replacing the innocent child's face with the image of a rather large, blubbery, gas-emitting ASS. After all, isn't the ASS the symbol of the Demokratzik Partei, USA? Aka the DPU. With emphasis on the P-U part.

Keep givin' em' hell! "They" can't control you.

Writing letters to them is great and so is having a trial in absentia but I really just want to punch them in the gut.

Posted by: fishfan at May 13, 2005 01:13 PM

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! ME ENCANTA ESA FOTO!!!!! Man that is some funny shit!!!! And as for the passing of the legislation: 392 supporters vs 22 opponents is music to my ears.

When the second American Revolution comes, people likes those who voted no will be taken out into the streets and shot. Can't happen soon enough.
