THE HEAD OF VILLA MARISATA PRISON IS SPOTTED NEAR THE SITE OF THE GENERAL MEETING
OF MAY 20th
Miami, Florida - Information Center - It is reported via telephone from Havana, Cuba by the Executive Committee of the Assembly to Promote Civil Society that Coco Fariña, the Delegate to the Assembly from Villa Clara and former prison mate of Marta Beatriz Roque, while she was hospitalized at Carlos J. Finlay Military Hospital, spotted the head of the Prison of Villa Marista – the infamous official Rabeiro- who spent of Wednesday afternoon around the location where the General Meeting will take place on Friday, May 20th.
The Executive Committee further informs that as of last night 65 delegates from throughout the island have arrived in Havana to participate in the General Meeting and that numerous foreign news agencies that had requested credentials to cover the meeting have also arrived in Cuba.
Norberto Dolta Sanchez, President of the Liberal Progressive Party and current political prisoner has requested that his wife attend the General Meeting of the Assembly on his behalf.
Juan Ochoa of the Liberty Movement received yesterday a notice from the Castro regime scheduling him to report to the precinct of Párraga. Mr. Ochoa has refused to comply with the notice.
The Executive Committee concluded the update by stating that the harassment by Castro’s officials continue in an effort to intimidate the delegates and participants so that they not attend tomorrow’s General Meeting.

OVER 300 DELEGATES TO THE ASSEMBLY TO PROMOTE CIVIL SOCIETY ARE ALREADY IN HAVANA
Support and Information Center, Miami, Florida, May 20, 2005, Press Advisory – 6 AM – Angel Polanco, spokesperson for the Executive Group of the Assembly to Promote Civil Society in Cuba, reports that more than 300 delegates representing 90% of the total delegates accredited to the Assembly are already in Havana for the historic General Meeting which starts today, May 20th at 10 AM, at the site adjacent to Félix Bonne Carcassés’ home.
Angel Polanco adds that many delegates remained throughout the night at the site enthusiastically awaiting the opening of the plenary session of the Assembly. Internal sources reveal that there is a lot of activity surrounding the area where the meeting will take place and that state police agents have been spotted inspecting the premises.
Our Center will be in contact throughout the day with the numerous support centers operating around the world, to timely report on the activities that are being undertaken; among them, demonstrations in various Europeans capitals and cities, organized by the Transnational Radical Party of the European Parliament, in conjunction with other non governmental organizations, such as “Action Droits de l’Homme”, whose President is former French Minister Francoise Hostalier; Amnesty International and others.
The Legal Advisor to the Radical Deputies at the European Parliament, Malena Zingoni, stated that even though visas have not been granted to many members of the European parliament who applied for them to participate as “international observers” at the meeting of May 20th, some of the deputies are already in Cuba.

Viva Transnational Radical Party of Europe! They are the good ones. They are basically Europe's libertarian republicans, and their ideas are so foreign to the run of the mill eurosocialists that they have to call themselves radicals. They are the good ones!!!!!

And today they published the photos of Satan Hussein in his underwear in prison... I cannot wait to see cagastro modeling his Calvin Kleins, Fruit of the Loom or Hanes while held in an American prison or better, in a Free Cuba prison!

Just read on MSNBC were Fidel expelled Czech Senator Karel Schwarzenberg and German lawmaker Arnold Vaatz because they were planning to attend the Assembly for the Promotion of Civil Society. Also, they prevented the Polish delegation from entering the island.
