Oliver Stone Arrested on Drug, DUI Charges

BEVERLY HILLS, California (May 28) - Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone was arrested for investigation of drug possession and driving while intoxicated, police said Saturday.

Stone, 58, was arrested Friday night at a police checkpoint on Sunset Boulevard after showing signs of alcohol intoxication, police Sgt. John Edmundson said.

A search of his Mercedes turned up drugs, Edmundson said. He did not specify what kind.

Stone was released Saturday morning after posting $15,000 bail.

A message left Saturday with Stone's agent David Styne was not immediately returned.

In 1999, the filmmaker pleaded guilty to drug possession and no contest to driving under the influence and was ordered into a rehabilitation program.

Stone's films include the recent "Alexander," "JFK" (1991) and "Natural Born Killers" (1994). He won Academy Awards for directing in 1989 for "Born on the Fourth of July" and in 1986 for "Platoon," which also won the Oscar for best picture. He lives in Los Angeles.

I've been stopped at that same Sunset police checkpoint. I told the cop i saw him behind me and thought he WANTED me go to faster. His SUV (this is Beverly Hills cops, they drive luxury SUVs that are giant-size) was bearing down on me and scared me. He believed me. Then I shared with him some of my Trader Joes cocoa almonds I just bought, told him they were good. He enjoyed the bite to eat. Life is amiable in Beverly Hills at that Sunset checkpoint. Stone must have been utterly obnoxious and crazy. Those cops are vigilant there but quite reasonable if you explain out what you are doing.

Of course the arrest of the Great Revolutionary is obviously a Republican plot. Too bad he didn't try to violently resist arrest, seeing as how he was all whacked out on drugs and such. He could have been armed too...

There's nothing better than seeing a Wacko Jacko Nicholson getting down and dirty around the internet, with underage prostitutes and consuming drugs so we can get him finally indicted (I would volunteer to make the citizen's arrest myself!!!)
Oliver Stone(d) is a cultist prick. The others too. They are pathetically low beings that don't even deserve the air they breath. That's stolen air from some well deserving and hardworking person with a functioning brain.
Hollywood is so darn corrupted and low that it makes me cringe whenever I see those "luminaries" spewing their "political opinions" on the red carpet (hmmm... red????) with all their "sagesse".
Bunch of pathetic unstable people who cannot hold to a relationship or kept themselves out of cocaine habits or alcoholism. Then the media glamourises all those exploits and going into rehab becomes an heroic journey.

I saw the Jack Nicholson MPEG in Cuba at an underground reunion straight from a hard drive. It was pretty bad in quality but you could see it WAS 100% Jack Nicholson (very fat very bald and VERY OLD) and 4 or 5 teen girls, all blitz outta their skulls, (one totally naked with not enough "womanhood in her to make a god damn croqueta, in other words YOUNG!) There were a couple of other guys (all yanks) and clearly a LOT of RUM and some cocaine.
If I had the MPEG it would’ve been already posted ;) I tried getting it burned onto a CD/R and everyone talked me out of it, they DO check your luggage on your way OUT of Cuba.
You can tell it was at El Nacional because Nicholson picks up a room service menu in the middle of the video and it says HOTEL NACIONAL, the girls were hungry.!
There was no CLEAR sex, but the naked lil girl kept being pawed by everyone, except Nicholson who of course had the most gorgeous girl of the lot on his lap , some stunning VERY young VERY TALL VERY blond and hardly dressed.
I was promised some other videos but never saw any more.
The MPEG was going to be sent to me via email and THAT never happened. BTW when I saw the Nicholson video I also saw the infamous party at Castro's mansion (with the $300 bottles of wine) MONTHS before it made the USA media.
The day I left Cuba on that trip , the plane was actually detained for 3 hours and 2 young women were taken off board , one of them returned and the other remained detained (both American citizens) the reasoning was "contraband" so .. I am QUITE glad I didn’t bring the CD with me.

There's TONS of underground stuff making the rounds in La Habana if you know who to talk to , and the people I was meeting with, were indeed in the business of counter-revolution so (not the Oswaldo Paya , kind of let's chat over coffee) but the let's grab that miliciano and kick him to within an inch of his life.
On that trip a fucking traffic guard who had days before beaten and raped a jinetera on 70th St and 5th ave in Miramar was found naked and hardly breathing , his gun (and uniform ) taken, so there is a segment in Cuba that is not fucking around, but we never hear about them. Some of the most innocent looking jineteras are dropping some powerful bacteria into unsuspecting “Sex Vacationers”
A favorite method is to leave a wet dirty towel a few days in a dark hot humid place , squeeze the resulting liquid into a small bottle which turns into sheer poison and drop a couple of drops into some “John” who within minutes is running to puke his guts outs and head back to Europe on the next plane. That will be a trip the prick will never forget!
And *I* know of these through some very convoluted connection some HIGH (VERY HIGH) some as low as you can imagine.
It is not a well known fact but at least in La Habana there is a HUGE and very active violent counter-revolutionary movement, who unfortunately is helped by NO ONE, including the interest section.
