Is a Lean Cousine alright...

I had my monthly chat with my wife's family in Oriente last night. The infamous rice cookers are making it to the stores at $125.00 Cuban pesos ! Each family may buy ONE rice cooker and ONE pressure cooker (same price 125.00 Cuban pesos) they must be purchased by the HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD PERSONALLY and a bunch of paper work accompanies the purchase.
Speaking to my in-laws I sortta found it weird that they were kindda subdued about this, like " well you know we need to be thankful, it is a great thing for us... bullshit I never heard them utter before not like my in-laws AT ALL!) So my lil sister in law gets on the phone and as all 16 year olds will do she just blurts out”
This is SHIT and if they even hear you whispering something about these fucking rice cookers your ass is in jail and they are SHIT and they don’t work and we still have NO food to put in them nor electricity to make them work!) Apparently the government is making this Rice Cooker deal a PRIMARY propaganda agenda and ANYTHING said against the Rice Cooker agenda will see you in jail faster than a Castro Depends change.
The bottom line is that The Beast is clamping down on ALL talks of discontent with very direct orders to the CDRs to turn in ANYONE who will poo-poo this latest of Kasstro's schemes.
Since the phone where I call my life belongs to a neighbor, when my sister in law began her tirade the line went dead. So I am just assuming (hoping) someone just hung up the phone before she went any further. Any attempts to call back just gave us a busy signal.
Needless to say my wife has spent one hell of a night, but who is going to stop a 16 year old kid from telling it like it is ?

That KaSStro is taking such trivial matter so seriously just points out at his level of desperation, but at this point we are terribly worried that my lil sister in laws outburst may have caused them mayor problems.

I've gotten the same with friends who are really upset about the situation. It's almost always somebody who cuts the communication out of fear. Tell your wife everything is going to be ok. They know that if they get it against a teenage girl the proapaganda machine abroad will stuck and never got any crank output again.
Let's hope that it's in Oriente the same that it's in Havana with my friends... that a scared someone yanks the phone out the caller's hands and cut the communication out of fear and that nothing else happens. Most of my friends and relatives' phones are tapped. Almost all phones down there are tapped. Talk about fear. Not the fear of the repressed, the fear of the repressor. That's much worse, indeed! and that a signal to us...
