Any chance that the powers-that-be at Babalublog.com will dispatch their Ace Reporter/Photographer to China, to try to find the "Unknown Rebel"?
Wouldn't you love to sit down with that gutsy man and try to find out what was going on in his mind as he stared down at that line of tanks?

Julio, I think Val would agree that the reason this blog exists is to aid people like "TankMan" and Dr. Biscet and Martha Beatriz Roque. Too often we take for granted the freedoms, the comfort and relative peace we have in this great country. We can never forget the dissidents who, at great personal risk, take steps to create freedom in their countries. God bless the USA.
