Gulag? Shut up, Ted.

Go. Read Paxety. Now.

Senator, we'd invite you to tour the other part of Cuba and see how prisoners are treated there. We are at war, and, by comparison, at a time that fidel was under attack, during the Bay of Pigs invasion, he responded by rounding up 250,000 to 300,000 Cubans and treating them to torture. It's all described in the book "The Losers" by Paul Bethel, a U.S. Embassy press spokesman at the time. The book is unfortunately out of print, so I will quote liberally, beginning with page 270.

My father was one of those 300,000 unfortunate Cubans --he "disappeared" for about 10 days, and lost close to 30 pounds during his stay at a stadium. He theorized that the Communists purposely kept the prisoners at the starvation level, in order to control them better... guess it's hard to rise against your oppresors if you can't even... rise.
I was a mere 14 years old at the time, and missed sharing my father's experience by sheer luck... because I was taking night courses at a private school in the other side of town when the government goons came to my house, shoved my father into a truck and instructed my mother to order me to report to the police station when I returned home.
Thank God she didn't follow their orders.
Communist Bastards! I shall curse them each and every day of my life, even long after they are gone.

The first is the e-mail address for Ted DUI Kennedy, that cagastro-loving drunkard who fled the scene of an accident leaving a young woman to die a horrible death.
The second, for those of you who are impossible to shock or to surprise, is his official website. A lot of coolness and phlegm is required to stomach that f.site.
I fired off a letter to him, asking him to go and take a look at the real Gulag, Cuba, now that he's around. I sent him a photo of Cuba with the world Gulag on top of it. I bet that some pitiful liberal in his e-mail reading team already erased it.
He comes from a family -as you all know- that jeopardized the security of this country and that was affraid of cagastro, abandoning us at Bay of Pigs. His brother's actions empowered cagastro to become what he has become today, his cowardice is thus a family tradition. Maybe they are French too, just as much as Kerry his disciple is.

Be Sweet! For a guy who has never had a real job, has gotten away with murder (literally and figuratively), comes from wealth derived from illegal sources (and has not been able to maintain or make it grow)...of course he feels Guilty! and what do people with a bad conscious do?

Val:

I am writing my memories of those times (The War Against Batista. Escopeteros", I was in the mountains with Castro in 1958, and jailed in the Blanquita (now Karl Marx) theater. Luckily I was technically English so I got out with only a few days there.

p.s. I remember what I remember only as manequins stddisplayed in a booth at the entrance. On mature reflection I think they were the bodies of some who were shot down in that theater.
