Taking into account the famed British humour and their phlegm, they probaby are using the paper of the letter as a coaster for the Queen's gin and tonic. Prince Phillip would have made a less noble use of that piece of paper. In the royal comode, if you know what I mean.

Queen Elizabeth was around before castro--her first prime minister was Sir Winston Churchill--and may Her Majesty reign long enough to see the last of him, and may that day come soon.

All a matter of perspective - I think castro is right when he says "the Cuban people, who have been a victim of terrorism for more than four decades" . . .

Adding to Jay's comment (the same thought crossed my mind as I read the letter, seemingly put together by Monty Python's scriptwriters), the reference to "terrorism" may be a Freudian slip as perhaps deep in his reptilian mind, kakasstroffe knows he is the source of said "terrorism."
