Believe me, that when I say I feel the end is coming soon, it's because jackasses like this guy have really stepped up the propaganda and public relations efforts to assure us that the embargo has absolutely no effect on the Cuban economy, that it only hurts Cubans and Cuban Americans. In a word, BULSHIT. These guys are in a panic mode. No reliable electricity to most of the island, no sanitary conditions or medicines in the hospitals and clinics, no food on the shelves. When this guy says that the economy is not close to collapse, he's deluding himself. Cuba is a like a giant anchor on the Venezuelan economy which is already going down faster than the titanic. No way that idiot Chavez can make a winner out an econmic system that has failed every single place it has been implemented.

The more we see of this bullcrap the louder and more persuasive we need to be. The embargo is no danger of coming down in the next 3 years. That's a long time for a 79 year decrepit old man to hang on. And even then there's no guarantee the next administration will be any friendlier. Cheney in 2008!
