If anyone needs proof of the MSM's liberal/left bias, I present this:
The Drudge ReportREPORTER VOWS TO 'KILL SELF' IF CHENEY RUNS FOR PRESIDENT
Thu Jul 28 2005 15:32:13 ETVeteran wire reporter Helen Thomas is vowing to 'kill herself' if Dick Cheney announces he is running for president.
The newspaper HILL first reported the startling claim on Thursday.
MORE
"The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself," she told the HILL. "All we need is one more liar."
Thomas added, "I think he'd like to run, but it would be a sad day for the country if he does."
Can we get that in writing?
BTW, Helen, we already had the big liar in the White House. I believe he was disbarred for his perjury. Do you remember his name, Helen?

I don't believe anything the radical left says! I am still waiting for many of them to leave the country like they promised they would if Bush won the election. But sadly, they are all still here!

I'm still waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin to leave the country as they vowed to do if Bush became president.

"helen thomas was going senile when reagen was still in office."
Helen Thomas was going senile when EISENHOWER was still in office. She's the demented old great-aunt of the White House press room, and I'm fairly sure she's also announced her retirement at least half a dozen times, so I wouldn't buy her latest inane babblings either.

I will reserve a coffin with the interior upholstered in pigskin if the old Arad hag does with herself away in that case. I don't think she is Muslim, but just in case!

As a Republican since the day I turned 18, I can say that I don't think we have a better candidate than Cheney right now. Guiliani isn't going to get the nomination because he's pro choice and McCain, I'm sorry to say, is a Democrat in Republic clothing.

John McCain = R.I.N.O. (Republican in name only)

Helen Thomas was at the first White House press briefing when GW was president. ( George Washington)

Her and Strom Thurmond, River Rat, but Thurmond's actually dead now.

Someone please give her poison, we do not want Charlie Schummer, Barbie Boxer and the antigun crowd to start blaming guns again for the actions of imbeciles.

I know you meant 'Perjury', but the sentence "disbarred for his purgery" is kind of funny. A "purgery" is the part of the sugar shack where the molasses is drained off of the sugar. Therefore the sentence should read, "disbarred despite his purgery".

The misspelled word has been corrected and I've fired my spell-checker...

I don't want to see Dick run and I don't want to see anyone get to a point in life where they would see fit to kill themselves but I do want to point out how pathetic the liberal side of life has become where they compare Bush to Hitler, our Gitmo jail to Gulags, call Fidel a president, threaten to leave the country if Bush won the election and now threaten suicide if Cheny runs. Do they have any idea what it is to be an American and I am not talking about being born in the USA, hell, Kerry was born here and I do not consider him American. What is going on out there on the left.

If she was one of Ross Perot's relatives, she would have been justifiably locked in the attic many years ago.

HELEN THOMAS ANGRY AFTER 'KILL SELF' OVER CHENEY COMMENTS PUBLISHED
White House press doyenne Helen Thomas is plenty peeved at her longtime friend Albert Eisele, editor of THE HILL newspaper in Washington, D.C.
In a column this week headlined "Reporter: Cheney's Not Presidential Material," Eisele quoted Thomas as saying "The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself. All we need is one more liar."
Thomas also said: "I think he'd like to run, but it would be a sad day for the country if he does," according to Eisele's column.
But Thomas said yesterday at the White House that her comments to Eisele were for his ears only. "I'll never talk to a reporter again!" Thomas was overheard saying.
"We were just talking -- I was ranting -- and he wrote about it. That isn't right. We all say stuff we don't want printed," Thomas said.
But Eisele said that when he called Thomas, "I assume she knew that we were on the record."
"She's obviously very upset about it, but it was a small item -- until Drudge picked it up and broadcast it across the universe," Eisele said.
Still, he noted that reporters aren't that happy when the tables are turned. "Nobody has thinner skin than reporters," Eisele said with a laugh.

I can't believe anyone would cite Drudge and expect to be taken seriously.

yeah. he was totaly wrong on the clinton-lewinsky story, the dress stain, the cigar.....

Caballero que falta de respeto...and you call yourself Cuban gentlemen (if any of the female regulars contributed to this lynch mob, I don't even want to address you!). Your grandmothers would freak!
Again - you can disagree with the woman, but this level of bile is over the top.
We're talking about a woman with impeccable credentials, who was among the first female political reporters and the one who opened the door to pretty much all the women in the business today.
Look at these credits:
"In 1972 she was the only print journalist to go on President Nixon's historic trip to China. She also traveled with presidents Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Bush, and covered every presidential economic summit. Thomas was the first woman officer of the National Press Club, the White House Correspondents Association, and the first woman member of the Gridiron Club. She became the first female White House bureau chief of a wire service in 1974. "

Again, disagree with her....fine, pero coño I think a little respect for what she represents is in order.
Posted by: Hilda at August 3, 2005 04:46 PM
She doesn't represent anything I respect. She is, has been, and always will be, a leftist wacko reporter. Screw her. And your slam on Drudge is funny considering he was the only reporter with balls big enough to go with a story that your vaunted press, Helen included, squelched because it was going to hurt their butt-buddy Clinton. Fuck the MSM.
Posted by: George L. Moneo at August 3, 2005 05:05 PM
Oh please! I understand it is de rigeur among certain ideologies to attack the MSM, but Drudge is an unscrupulous hack who will print anything - sometimes he gets it right, de chiripa. Hell even a broken clock is right twice a day.
To negate the professional achievements of Helen Thomas because you don't agree with her is pathetic, albeit *typical*.
