Condi Rice, we love ya!
The BBC published this tonight. I want everybody to focus on this phrase from Condi Rice's speech and repeat it, over and over and over:
"Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny."
"Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny."
"Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny."
"Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny."
"Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny."
"Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny."
Sounds nice, don't it?
New post to help Castro 'demise'US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has announced the creation of a new post to help "accelerate the demise" of the Castro regime in Cuba.
Caleb McCarry, a veteran Republican Party activist, was appointed as the Cuba transition co-ordinator.
Ms Rice said for 50 years Fidel Castro had condemned Cubans to a "tragic fate of repression and poverty".
Mr Castro accuses the US of funding unrest and vowed that dissidents would never bring down his government.
'Castro's tyranny'
The post was recommended in a 2004 report on Cuba by a commission headed by Ms Rice's predecessor Colin Powell.
The report outlines the steps the US is prepared to take to bring about regime change in Cuba, such as subverting Mr Castro's plans to hand over power to his younger brother.
Introducing Mr McCarry at the State Department in Washington, Ms Rice said the US was working with advocates of democratic change on the island.
"We are working to deny resources to the Castro regime to break its blockade on information and to broadcast the truth about its deplorable treatment of the Cuban people," she said.
She said the aim of the effort was to "accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny" on the Caribbean island, which he has ruled since 1959.
Earlier this week, in a speech marking the anniversary of the Cuban revolution, Mr Castro accused the US of financing dissidents and false propaganda.
"No other revolutionary process has been able to count on as much consensus and overwhelming support as the Cuban revolution has," he told supporters in Havana.

Bless THAT woman - she has ovaries.
When we get the FIRST Female president in the USA she will also be the first Black president of the USA!
nd .. she has GREAT legs TOO!
Posted by: KillCastro at July 28, 2005 10:36 PM
Compared to "las masetas" de Hillary, even Twiggy had great legs. But What makes Condy so cool its her great analytical and no-nonsense intellect. She definitelly has the ability to differentiate good from evil, an ability the leftwing liberals seem to be missing the gene for.

Way to go Condi!
She has a powerful mind, and a great drive! And yes, she will make a great president! (sorry Bill, you were not the first Black president, you were the first Pimp-president, which is very different!)

Condi for President 2008!! Why can there be more leadership, intelect, and moral clarity among the males in DC??
Posted by: Josue Sierra at July 28, 2005 11:34 PM
Josue, because they have been emasculated by forty years of forcing them to be more "sensitive" and "politically correct." The Orwellian leftist group-think doesn't help, either.

Too bad she's such a pinhead about the palestinians.

With tears, I say. Way to fucking go Condi!
Posted by: Kathleen at July 29, 2005 12:07 AM
Hey Tex, Why do you think she's a pinhead about the palestinians?
Posted by: Kathleen at July 29, 2005 12:31 AM
Not encouraging.
Posted by: Tex at July 29, 2005 12:57 AM
There is DESTINY written all over that woman.
Look at a close up of her eyes. They OVERWHELM you in their sheer depth and intensity
Posted by: KillCastro at July 29, 2005 01:58 AM
Okay Tex, I checked that out and ? So? Actions speak louder than diplomatic words. The tide has turned, and finally, praised be God, thanks to GWB and his administration no one in the MSN is willing to voice the opinion that killing jews in the name of jihad is ok. Excet of course for some "moderate arabs."

She is a great woman with a great leadership Val.
Since her childhood she suffer a lot with the segregation in the south states .but she was able to come true as a great politician despite her tough childhood.
She knows for sure what is like to feel oppressed and that is way she knows were we coming from. God bless this wonderful lady.

Condi is the left's worst nightmare...an intelligent, articulate, no-nonsense black woman from the deep south. And she's a Republican, not a Democrat.
It speaks volumes about the sad state of the Democratic party and its bozo leadership.

#1 Condi is part a horrible, horrible person to be part of the fraud Iraq war that has killed so many people unnecessarily.
#2 I used to live in South Florida. I have never understood the Cuban population in South Florida. All a bunch of Crybabies and cowards. You know what my ancestors did if they were being oppressed or wanted freedom - they got a gun/sword and did it for themselves. All of your wimpy ancestors ran away from a fight and came to the U.S. to bitch. Go handle YOUR OWN business.
Posted by: WR Grace at July 29, 2005 11:54 AM
WR Grace,
#1 - see you're reading straight from the Democratic party's talking points.
#2 - Guess you didn't learn squat about Cubans or Cuban history during your time in South Florida. Do some research before making stupid comments in public.
Posted by: Robert at July 29, 2005 11:58 AM
WR Grace: a hearty "FUCK YOU" to you, too! Your criticism is more of the same hackneyed, tired, and trite crap we hear every day. It's not even worthy of a response.

First at all grace am a Cuban from new York city .not from Florida like you quoted in your cowardly post .to me it makes no difference we are all Cubans no matter were we live .
Listen to me cocksucker I think you are the only coward in this entire post .coming over here and writing all that bullshit about us when you don’t know a fucking thing about our history.
You wish you had the balls the my father and many other Cubans have hanging between their legs.
Many Cubans had die fighting the beast so next time you open you filthy mouth do a little research …MOTHERFUCKER
Posted by: tocororo at July 29, 2005 12:48 PM
So WR Grace, when exactly did you find out your parents were related and you only had one set of grandparents ?
Posted by: KillCastro at July 29, 2005 07:02 PM
How funny to watch republican talk about expanding government, and expecting the government to fix it all for you.
I think this is your funnies post so far. It's a riot
Posted by: madtom at July 29, 2005 09:58 PM
Madtom, Huh?
Posted by: George L. Moneo at July 30, 2005 06:09 AM
Y'all can't find any just argument to justify your comments. Is all about insults and profanities. Obviously, your lack of intellect shows throughout.
This goes to all of you who whine and complaint from the A/C of your office, yet have never set foot anywhere else. I see that the 60 million in government subsidies isn't going toward educating any of you.
Grace, I applaud you. Indeed, you have real "cojones". Unlike you, others remind me of a toilet, all noise, but is all full of excrement.

Accelerate the demise of Castro's tyranny
That sure sounds sweet... but I've been down this heartbreak road before, so I wonder.... is there an election coming up ? is there a bill in congress that my little cuban-american voice can help push along ? I don't get it ??? this is new and fun for the whole family. Never before had we been shown the carrot outside the presence of the valot box. So I am enamoured by the sound of her voice and the concept of a free cuba is shear bliss.
I dare to indulge in thinking that maybe, just maybe this time we are facing proactive action that will bring castro down.
As such I tend to tie things together such as:
1. I spotted an EC-130 Commando Solo Aircraft while on a business trip to Key West. (this is the plane with all the TV and radio antennas)
2. I saw two huge! new adds in the sunday herald seeking all types of employees for radio and tv marti. (an increase of activity ?) or are they firing everybody and hiring an entirely new staff ?
3. Dr. Rice appointed a new Cuban transition guru which is an unprecedented post, sort of like what Brener is for Iraq.
4. Noriega (a softy) all of the sudden decides to go away and a new batch of hard liners are being tapped for his replacement.
5. Bolton "Mr. Cuban bioweapons man" is appointed to the UN as ambassador.
6. Radio and TV marti are on every 20 or 40 khz and on multiple bands. This is something new and is basically a barage of propaganda on Cuba.
Am I being silly about this ? does it seem like I want to believe ? Should I go and join SETI ? (the UFO watch group) ?
