Honor (UPDATED)
(Cross-posted at Brandon's Puppy)
Here are a few good reasons why our beloved #13 is the greatest quarterback ever.
Thanks, Dan, for your 17 years with the Dolphins. No matter what the score, with you there was always hope. Today, at 1:00 PM, you join all the other greats in the Hall of Fame.

Congratulations on this much-deserved achievement.
UPDATE:
1:32PM Wow, when Marino got up on that stage and looked out at the crowd...you could see the emotion in his face. He looked so overwhelmed, that THAT MANY fans and followers would be there for him.
Val, I hope you're watching this...(if not, don't worry, I'm recording it.)
UPDATE:I missed the live ceremony, but I just now came online to post a small tribute to Marino, only to find my niece Amanda had already done it for me. Gracias, Amanda, you brought tears to my eyes.
ESPN is carrying the ceremony right now and Im about to see Dan give his speech. I've got a box of Kleenex handy.

Hi Amanda,
My simple equation of the day: Dan = Man
BTW, your "tocaya" is doing great!

Ricky Williams is the king! Dan will always be in his shadow.

I thought it would be tough to follow Steve Young and his Dad, but Danno and Danny did a great job. I loved that he licked his fingers and threw a pass to Clayton. That was awesome.

I got a bit choked up watching the speeches.
It's an honor to have watched Dan Marino play for my favorite football team and represent in so many great ways the community I live in.

Yuca,
Could you please elaborate about your experience, so we may understand why you say Marino is racist. Two of his best friends, Mark Duper and Mark Clayton, are black, and his two adopted daughters are of Asian decent. Who exactly is he racist against?

Yuca, I deleted your comment. You cannot expect to post a slanderous allegation and get away with it. And just after Marino is inducted to the Hall of Fame! Either show us the evidence of your serious charge, or shut up.
