September 1, 1945

Sixty years ago today, the Second World War ended with the signing of the Japanese surrender documents on board the USS Missouri. Let's give thanks to all of those brave soldiers, sailors, and airmen who gave their last full measure of devotion so that we could all live in a great and free nation.
