A post Katrina Relief Drive Cubanism

You guys rock.

Ive been sitting here in front of the keyboard trying to come up with some witty way of thanking all of you for your efforts with the relief drive but the only thing that comes to mind is "You guys rock."

As I type this, the tally over at NZ Bear's donation log for Babalú is $5655. Five thousand, six hundred fifty five. That is a something to be proud of. You guys came through in a BIG way.

So, with this in mind, Id like to offer up a post donation drive cubanism:

Se la comieron, caballeros!

Literally se la comieron means you ate it. But figuratively, when a Cuban tells you te la comistes he's saying that you have done something extraordinary, something big, something superb, something totally cool.

And all of you that gave and gave and gave again to those in need did just that. Something extraordinary, something big, something superb, something totally cool.

Se la comieron, caballeros!

We now return you to your regular fidel bashing programing.....

well, i think a approriate place to start: the doctors fidel offered to send.. interesting topic.. should we accept? what if they decide to stay en masse? if we say no, fidel can spin it, if we say yes, he still spins it.. damned i fyou do, damned if you dont..

Yahoo! Congrats on the high ranking too.
So, does this mean there will or won't be the shaving of leg(s)? Or the dressing in drag? There were so many fine incentives offered that I'm not sure what actually applies anymore. :)
