A thug in New York
Brutal leftist thug dictator Hugo Chavez will be in New York for the UN General Assembly and incidentally, to address my alma mater, Columbia University. It's utterly disgusting.
It makes me wonder if the reason he chose to come to this school was the suckup Columbia Journalism Review article written by avowed leftwinger and Victor Navasky Pal John Dinges about Venezuela, saying bad journalists and not the brutal thuggery of the Chavistas, was responsible for alll the trouble there. And if Venezuela's journalists would just be 'responsible' and report the news the way The Nation leftists do, and be nice to Venezuelan propaganda slimeball, Andres Izarra, and his vicious dad (Dinges spent a lot of time with these two pals of his) who abuses journalists through text-messages, all would be fine. That crap really happened.
As Country Store put it: Look what crawled out from a rock.
If you are in New York and are in a position to protest this communist dictator, please see the notice (scroll down about 11 short entries) put out by Aleksander Boyd of VCrisis, telling of dates and times and locations right here.
The thug of Caracas has got to go.
UPDATE: GOPinion has a photo of the ugly dictator lecturing the UN here.

I wish I were still a freshman at Columbia so I could drop a huge ball of wet toilet paper on him from my window in Carman Hall.

Ironically, Kofi made Hugo cancel the Columbia gig because Hugo's speech at the UN got Kofi mad. Details at my blog today.
