If Castro and Chavez were true revolutionaries, they would immediately break relations with the "hated, oppressive, imperialist United States."
They will never do this, in spite of their radical rhetoric.
A break in relations would mean that Castro could no longer buy capitalist goods from the U.S. and the visa lottery that allows him to export 20,000 malcontents to the U.S. annually, would end.
Chavez would lose out on the petro dollars, which are at an all time high.
