Bad news from Spain
Some bad news has arrived to Val from Spanish blogger Luis I. Gómez (Desde el exilio, HispaLibertas, and Libertad Digital). Here is a news item (in Spanish) from a Spanish newspaper, La Voz de Galicia.
It seems that Socialist Prime Minister Zapatero has decided to allow fidel and hugo chavez, and members of their armed forces, to participate in the October 12 celebration of Dia de la Hispanidad (Hispanic Day). Luis says (and we agree) that the decision on the part of the Spanish government to allow these two -- and their armed forces -- as part of this celebration is shameful and humiliating. Links to Luis's posts in Spanish will be made when received.
Luis closes his communication by saying that ˇla libertad terminará triunfando! -- liberty will be the final victor!
Let us pray he is right.

What a contrast between this spineless jellyfish, Zapatero, and the brave, honorable Spanish ambassador Don Juan de Lojendio, who would not allow kagaSStro to disrespect Spain, and did not hesitate to barge in and let the bearded stinkpot have it, on Cuban national TV, on the night of 20 January, 1960, almost making "el barbudo" crap his pants.
For the full story, go here: http://www.lavozdecubalibre.com/display.asp?type=A&rowid=41
I only wish I had the time to translate the link to English. I only wish Spain had more Lojendios, but fear it has been infested with RATAS COBARDES like Zapateros.

Thanks, Val.
Alberto, be sure, in Spain we have some Lojendios, but a lot of ratas cobardes too. I take your story for my blog :-)

Perhaps the Spanish think of it as the "Recoquista of the Americas." One should not forget that Angel Castro served in the Spanish Army in Cuba and perhaps in a position very close to "Butcher" Weyler.
Perhaps that is why Castro's first name is "Fidel" the faithful.
take care and be well
