che guevara terror brigade
Three bombs went off around Buenos Aires today, targetted at American interests. Being Argentina, they went after a couple of Citibanks, and also a Blockbuster video place. Argentina's leftist authorities 'assure' that there's nothing to worry about - well, not for them. The news item is here.
The terror group that claimed 'credit' for the attacks was called the 'che guevara Anti-Imperialist Commando.' It's well-named, given che guevara's record of terrorist violence around the continent during his heyday in the 1960s. He was an authentic thug.
What's ironic to me is that castro - the father of all terror in our hemisphere - is continuously yelling that the U.S. is the 'terrorist state.' He clearly is of two minds about this - terror is fine when it's got his or che's name on it - but any other action he doesn't like gets defined as 'terrorism' and something he can use to leverage to his victimhood. This monster is very clever. And he's very good at forgetting. Why is it that bombs and terror always seem to follow this Cuban dictator? They just do. Maybe it's something he stands for.
Think of that che Brigade next time some leftist comes up to you in a che guevara tee shirt trying to sell you something.

I wore my trenblindado.com t-shirt to the high school where I work yesterday and caused quite a stir among some folks during our teachers'meetings yesterday. I had one guy who I was told has worn his Ché shirt approach me but it was on a peaceful note.
Unfortunately, few folks know so little about the atrocities this man committed while he was alive.
Even when I was in Buenos Aires last summer, I had a bank employee tell me his dream was to travel to Santa Clara and visit Che's tomb. I was aghast at his comment, especially since he knew I was Cuban and lived in the U.S.

Thank God nobody was killed in the blasts.

The fact that several members of the Argentine cabinet including most famously For. Min, Bielsa
are ex montoneros, this isn't that surprising. It's disturbing considering MPQM Bonafini approving remarks about 9/11; the revealing of
the CIA chief rep in Argentina, pre 9-11, (calling
Joe Wilson), and the proximity to the Triple Frontier terrorist haven

This certainly explains why they didn't get their IMF bailout they wanted so badly at the end of 2001. I had thought anti-US sentiment took off most strongly after 2002 - I guess it was well around before that. Cripes, they are such idiots running that country, was there ever anyone dumber? Now they've got THESE kinds of problems, too.
