Rumors of my demise...

...have been greatly exaggerated...

I forgot to mention that I got a call from my doctor Friday night and just as I suspected the results for the second blood tests were completely different than the first.

The results to the first bloodwork showed my cholesterol at about 360 and my triglycerides at over 1400. The doctor told me that day that he'd never seen triglycerides that high. Everyone freaked out of course, Val was on the cholesterol superhighway!

But, I realized that the original tests were done on a Monday. And Mondays follow Sundays, which means football, beer and drastic levels of meat consumption. Yes, a typical ManCamp football Sunday.

The second tests revealed my cholesterol to be a bit hgh still, a little over 300, but my triglycerides were at 214.

So, dear readers, rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated and never, ever, have blood tests done after a ManCamp debauchery.
