Skunk at the garden party

If you weren't invited some place, wouldn't you think better of going? Wouldn't you worry that people might point at you, noting that your presence was not wanted? Wouldn't you just stay away, maybe brush off the entire event as unimportant? Wouldn't you see that as a normal human response?

Not so in castroworld, where the flame troll spirit is alive and well. castro's scumbag parliament speaker, the little puke Ricardo Alarcon was NOT invited to the OAS-sponsored Summit of the Americas, which is reserved for democracies only, but he came anyway, polluting the place with his presence.

Not that he was let in of course. He just showed up at the door and stood outside complaining, saying he didn't want to be there anyway. I don't know who put him on the plane to Mar del Plata then or what was holding him back from a flight back to Havana. But that's the whining castroite way.

Not welcome.

It's in this news story here:

Cuba, Venezuela's closest ally, is banned from participating in the summit. But Cuban parliament speaker Ricardo Alarcon showed up in Mar del Plata anyway.

He mocked the summit, saying that "even if they invited us, we would not have come."

"They are going to take a good photo with Bush, have lunch, eat dinner, and gab some more. What is happening over there is a plan that does no good for the people of the Americas," he told Associated Press Television News.

Here's the 'garden party' Alarcon went to, in lieu of the Summit:

UPDATE: Daniel in Venezuela has much more about how unpopular this 'Latin Trash rally' (as he calls it) really was.

UPDATE: Agencia EFE reports that these protestors were carrying Osama bin Laden signs.

Well, click around for some recent posts to get to that whole story. iBienvenidos!

Skunk is right, only smellier. "We would not have come." Then why are you here? What a bottom feeder.

Zackly, Kathleen. Does anyone have less class than these castroites? Who has ever heard of even one of them not being uncouth?

Mora, The mere fact of their existence defiles our planet. They spew a vile penetrating poison, how can anyone stand it?

Setting aside all the real harm these people do....could they act a little more like obnoxious twelve-year-olds? Chavez is going to "scare" Bush at the summit? Alarcon stands outside the door smirking that he wouldn't go even if they invited him? These are grown men? Oy vey.
