Why aren't you blogging today, Val?

Oh, doing a little yard work.

That's the new look in all South Florida neighborhoods: dead tree cuttings, shingles, and the otehr detritus blown away by that bitch Wilma.

Oh, wow, that's a mountain of debris!
Have some beers, that's the only fuel that would keep you going throught that!

That's IT?!! C'mon Val, you can do better than that!

I propose a contest in which South Floridians submit their debris pile pictures. Winner gets a check from FEMA.

Por lo menos el césped se ve muy cuidado y hasta el borde bien edged.... eres un hombre de detalles, Val!
Felicidades....Ahora la Asociación del reparto no te podrá coger en un fallo!

I would get rid of that real quick with a good bonfire and go back to blogging.

Hey!! How dare you post a picture of my front yard without my authorization?? That is what the front of my house STILL looks like today, almost 4 weeks after Wilma, I should also send a picture of the "New Blue Roof Look" in South Florida to compliment the "debris" (is that a French word? if it is...I think is so well fitting.)

I think your flowers need a little water and fertilizer!

Robert,

That pila has a twin sister across the street, and Im still not even half way done. There's 4 more Australian pines, about 50 footers, still down in the backyard.

I am, however, seeking volunteers willing to work for beer.

I think it looks like modern art. As such, the state should take charge of it. ;)
