In a pissy mood
You ever wake up in the morning just completely numb? Numb to the news, numb to family problems, numb to shit that needs to be done at the office, numb to your house being without shingles on the roof, numb to massive amount of tree cutting that needs to be done before Noche Buena. Numb to idiots trolling your blog. Just. Totally. Numb.
That's me today. Numb, and with a short fuse. I hope no one lights it.

That's nothing compared to how Santiago Alvarez and Osvaldo Mitat feel after being entraped by federal informant Gilberto Abascal, who is probably also an agent of the Cuban government. They will be spending Thanksgiving in jail.
Under the Clinton Administration phony defector Juan Pablo Roque infiltrated Brothers to the Rescue as part of the Red Avispa spy network. Four Cuban Americans died as a result of his espionage work.
Now we have the Bush Administration persecuting and prosecuting anti-Castro activists with whom appears to be also an agent from Castrolandia. It's the same policy that has been carried out by the U.S. Government since the secret Kennedy-Khrushchev understanding, which is still in effect.
I agree with Jose Basulto of Brothers to the Rescue, who today told the Miami Herald that "This is an action against our community and our people. There is no difference between Bush and Clinton. There is basically one party with two names. The U.S. is falling to a moral low point." Pepe Hernandez of the CANF stated in the same article: "''We are seeing signals that indicate that the administration of President Bush is forgetting the promises they made to the exile community in order to cater to Castro."
Let's not keep quiet about this and send Bush a message by attending the protest rally being planned for December 6 in front of the Federal courthouse.

Mr. DelaCova,
Which Federal Courthouse is that? I.e., in which city?
If it's within riding distance of where I live, I'd sure like to attend.

Julio,
I heard Miguel Saavedra, of Vigilia Mambisa, said today on Radio Mambi that they would hold the rally in the downtown federal courthouse in Miami on Dec. 6. It is the next scheduled court appearance for Santiago Alvarez.
