New TV Marti film, diaries and more
Lovely Stefania in Sardinia has some of the most amazing sources. She's gotten her hands on a new TV Marti interview of a Cuban dissident who was imprisoned and somehow got out, discussing his horrific ordeal.
It also has interviews with his wife and son, who spoke of the quiet support and solidarity they received in Cuba from their friends and neighbors, who did not forsake them. To me, that was edifying to learn because no one and nothing shatters communities and makes them free for alls like castro. That they haven't been shattered, but all maintain a quiet solidarity against The Beast has got to be dangerous news for him and his crumbling island prison.
Stefania's video, and a diary of a prisoner with photographs is here.

Mora:
Aristotle said that the first thing a tyrant does is to destroys all sense of community and belonging in order to individualize the citizen (i.e. he's alone with no support system) This is good news because once the regime falls (and it well) the sense of community and beloning will help Cubans rehabilitate their civil society and get the country back on track real fast

Bravo for those courageous Cubans lending their friendly support to the needed, and little by little saying "Ya Basta". Too bad that Venezuelan in cubazuela are not doing the same, and instead of shout out laud "Ya Está Bueno; enough is enough", are just practicing the new hot-sport in town: looking down at their bellybottons.
