What did you expect?
US Congressional delegation snubbed at Caracas airport.
Does this really surprise anyone familiar with hugo chavez?

I wonder how long it will be for those chavez hired "U.S. talking heads" like New York Cong. Serrano, et al, to start to blame the Bush Administration for this airport flap?
Or maybe it was the "embargo" that brought the standoff about...?
I think it's time to start to "apretarle las clavijas" (tighten the screws, or in other words, start getting really tough) with the chavez regime.
Now this oafish mini-me of a head of state has insulted the Americans directly, because the members of that delegation at the airport are the representatives of the American people, who elected them to their respective offices.

Val, shall we start lowercasing the Caracas Thug?
That sounds like a plan to me!

I second Mora's motion; no uppercase for underclass tyrants, or their collaborators.

I can't think of a single good thing to say about chavez but I have to admit I laughed when I read they sat there in their plane and finally took off without even getting off. Congress deserves that sort of treatment sometimes and maybe it taught them a lesson (about chavez and life in general).
And it could have been worse, it might have turned out to be a Jonestown had they gotten off.

What is the point of talking to la cucarachita chavina beside oil?
There is only one thing you do when you see a cucarachita and I guest for some politicians it will take years to learn......again.
