What we take for granted

If you're reading this, consider yourself lucky. Not just because you have access to the internet and blogs and news and information, but because like me, you can take it for granted.

Of course, not everyone has this cyber blessing. We all know that the internet is prohibited in Cuba, and in the few cases where access is allowed, it is strictly policed.

Well, La Ventanita reports the story of one man in Cuba, a journalist with no affiliation to the state run media, who's on his fourth day of a hunger strike for this here thing we are all taking for granted right now.

Let's remember that next time we log on and not only count our internet blessings, but use them to bless others.
