The flags are a flop

Our good buddy Fausta has a great visual roundup of those "Black Flags Over Havana" castro's monument to absurdity, including a great photo that fidel is not going to like. It reveals just how stupid and wasteful this project was, because in spite of all the news stories to the contrary, the flags do not block the ticker. See it here.

I love good news!

This is so stupid.

If people want to see the news flashs all they have to do is peek under the flags because flags don't not stand still when the wind blows them.

How stupid.

I hope that they run the tiki-tiki news in Spanish so more people in Cuba can hear them.

Why doesn't he not put flags by the Army Base in Guantanamo he's so stupid.

He does not do it because he does not have the gas to put in his 1962 57 Chevy to drive their that is why he's so stupid.

Put the flags in Varadero too for the fat Canadains to block their sun tans because that is funny. I hope they go back to Milwaukee with no sun tan that's what they get for being so crazy because they love the ten year old girls to pay them because they can't get a real woman.

Fausta- Your welcome, it was my pleasure. I especially enjoyed the pun.

Early this morning, I watched a part of a BBC television report on the "inauguration" of this flag locura. It left me fuming, because it seemed as if the "director" had staged every single shot under the leadership of one of the tyrant's stooges, because it was evident they were trying to show that the flags did "block" the ticker.
About an hour later, believe it or not, CNN had much better camera-work that showed the sign functioning through the mess of black flags.
From both reports, it was fairly obvious that if an onlooker takes but a few steps to one side or the other, or gets closer to the base of the poles, the ticker can be seen operating perfectly.
Now the Cuban population will start using the presence of the new "monument" as an excuse to visit the site and... read the news from the ticker. And for that, doubtless they will be saying: Gracias, fidel!
And didn't the tiranosaurius look old, worn-out and debilitated at the demonstration...? could hardly clap his hands in unison with the mob of stooges surrounding him. No wonder he didn't speak... probably wasn't physically able to, so
thank you, Mother Nature, just hurry up and bring this sorry chapter of Cuba's history to a merciful (for the rest of us) end!

What a futile use of much needed materials that could otherwise be put to good use by needy Cubans!
