Thor
My dad has two birthdays. There's the "official" one that he used to be able to get out of Cuba and there's the real one. My old man was born 75 years ago today.
So I want to take this opportunity to thank the old man for being such an incredible example for me to follow. For living a noble, honest and dignified life and pulling this family through so many hard times. For all the years of hard work. For still, at the age of 75, swinging that sledge hammer and working every day to the point of exhaustion. Gracias, Papi.
Happy Birthday, Dad. May you have many many more to come.

May he live many more years. There should be a tribute to those that have had to endure what your dad likely did. Leaving everything behind in his old country (involuntarily) and moving into a new one, learning the "ropes" and language, and all the while raising a family. Ours is a shared experience and I admire my dad too. God bless them.

Your Dad's name is Jesus? Happy Birthday to the man, who was born exactly one year and 10 days later than my father (76 on Feb 5), who incidentally, and I am not kidding, is named Jesus.
May we have them both for more years to come!

God bless your mother and father, y un feliz cumpleaños a tu papa. Indeed you are blessed, my friend, as I have been blessed with wonderful parents. Let's not forget the greatest gift they gave their children, out of pure love - the gift of growing up in freedom, in a land of liberty.

A huge thanks to all of you. I showed Dad all of your comments last night after we cut the cake. You all brought tears to his eyes.
From my dad and family to you, thank you.
