Fariñas Blogburst Update
Just a reminder that Monday is the Fariñas Blogburst. Please email me or Fausta if you are participating for more information.
I took the sketch Pat Texidor did of Mr. Fariñas and with the help of my good buddy Laz C. created the following animated gif that you can upload to your Fariñas related post or blog. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the message across:

Of course the press aren’t paying attention. They’re not interested in a story because of its real value (they press has no values of their own), they’re interested in keeping their jobs. Have you all considered issuing a press release announcing a movement for all cubans in florida to ban buying the miami herald unless they start running articles on this? also, you have to punch people on the head. Play the game. Camp out in front of the governor’s office, and show your support not only by words, but by conducting a week long hunger strike. Along with the call for cuban floridians to ban the major newspapers, this should have an impact. You have clout as voters and consumers in florida. Use it!!
