Oh, Cynthia! (Updated)

Paybacks are hell, eh Cynthia?

You may have read where Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney struck a Capitol Police officer last week after she refused to wear her Congressional pin and refused to walk through a metal detector. Capitol Police are seeking an arrest warrant for McKinney and McKinney, who was clearly in violation of the law and who legally has probably no leg to stand on against the charges, is playing the race card. Because why apologize for a minor incident, eat some crow and show some dignity when you can stick it to The Man.

Why, McKinney even had some heavy hitters at a press conference at her side, none other than the Day-O Duo, Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Georgia, faces possible criminal charges for a Wednesday altercation with a Capitol Police officer, one of her lawyers said Friday that the real issues were "sex, race and Ms. McKinney's progressiveness."

In a news conference featuring actor Danny Glover and singer Harry Belafonte, McKinney said she would be exonerated and that "this whole incident was instigated by the inappropriate touching and stopping of me, a female, black congresswoman."

She had little else to say, citing the ongoing investigation into her allegedly striking a police officer after he failed to recognize her at a security checkpoint and tried to stop her from passing.

One Republican congressman dismissed the star-studded news conference. "Rep. McKinney appearing with the star of "Lethal Weapon"? Not exactly the message you want to be sending," said Ron Bonjean, spokesman for House Speaker Dennis Hastert.

...

Glover and Belafonte refrained from addressing the facts of the case and said they were there to support McKinney. Belafonte said he did not know what happened during the Wednesday incident but wanted to make sure the matter was handled on "a very fair and very square basis."

"We've watched her be abused in the past, and she's overcome, stood strong," the outspoken Belafonte said. "We're not going to be absent or indifferent to the fact that she may be abused again."

Added Glover, "We're not here to judge the merits of the case, but here to support our sister."

Do you all remember Cynthia McKinney? I do. And I know for sure there is at least one other Cuban-American that remembers her as well, Rep. Mario Diaz Balart:

Resolution to commend Capitol Police

Two House members will introduce tomorrow a resolution to commend the U.S. Capitol Police department, which Rep. Cynthia A. McKinney accused last week of racial profiling.

"The 1,700 officers of the Capitol Police force risk their lives every day protecting constituents, staff and members of Congress," said Rep. Patrick T. McHenry, North Carolina Republican. "The right thing to do is to commend these men and women. They deserve a pat on the back, which is more appropriate than what they've gotten lately."

The resolution, by Mr. McHenry and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, Florida Republican, which could be voted on this week, comes after increasingly harsh accusations by Mrs. McKinney, the Georgia Democrat who was stopped by Capitol Police last week for bypassing a metal detector.

Also, the Capitol Police today requested an arrest warrant for Mrs. McKinney over the incident. A representative for the U.S. Attorney's Office, which must approve an arrest warrant, said officials were considering whether to file charges.

In case you dont remember McKinney all that well, let me give you a little refresher. Here are a few select quotes from the House floor in April of 2000 where McKinney shows her true castro-cultist, useful idiot prowess:

Cuba is no paradise. But, neither is Cuba a place where the health and welfare of children is ignored. Just as we use health, education, and family life statistics to assess life in America; we too, can use them to help tell us about life in Cuba.

Cuba is one of the privileged nations in the world that has virtually 100% literacy. By every standard and in every reference work, literacy in Cuba is as high as it is in the United States.

100% literacy: CHECK!

In Cuba, university is fully funded by the government and students don't face obstacles based on race or socioeconomic status, unlike in the United States, where affirmative action programs that embrace opportunity for America's minorities are being wiped out by political decision makers. Unfortunately in the United States today, Latino children are still far less likely to go to college than their white counterparts.

Free education: CHECK!

Despite the debilitating effects of the US embargo, Cuba has tightened its belt in other areas in order to ensure that Cuban children receive a quality education.

Debilitating effects of the embargo quote: CHECK!

In Cuba, however, there is free and universal health care for all citizens. There is no need for an insurance card, or lengthy phone calls over whether your HMO will pay for a certain procedure. Instead, Cuba has to deal with the thorny issue of health care tourists who come to Cuba to get medical attention lacking in their own countries.

Free Universal healthcare: CHECK!

Perhaps, this is why Cuba has a lower infant mortality rate than we have right here in Washington, D.C.

Low infant mortality rate: CHECK!

The economic embargo of Cuba has not produced the desired result. Oh, it might serve as salve on the consciences of those who have problems with the current government, but it certainly hasn't produced the results that they or we want.

Jab at the Cuban-American community: CHECK!

And last but not least:

Let me conclude this way: as a mother, I grieve for Elian's mother . . . who gave her own life to try to bring Elian to America. And had she lived . . . this would be a different story.

But, she did not.

And now we are left with a child--a little boy--separated from his father by a series of tragic events.

We must not lose sight of the facts, however:

Elian's father also had custody of Elian in Cuba.

Elian's mother took Elian away from his father and illegally left Cuba's shores for America.

Elian belongs with his loving father who wants him.

Send Elian back to his father: CHECK!

Every single fluff piece, whether from a fidel worshipping member of the US Government or by a useful idiot member of the MSM uses the above points in every single speech or article almost verbatim. Because, you know, maybe if you repeat a lie over and over and over again, you can convince yourself its actually true.

Cynthia, I hope they fry your ass in court.

UPDATE: Cox and Forkum absolutely NAIL Cynthia.

I'm so glad I didn't post about the warrant, I had no idea about the "beautiful" background of this woman. By the way, if you check her website she has a video in support of her being racially profiled.

Hey, if Cindy, (all Cindys to whom this may apply, no discrimination intended) Danny, and Harry think it's that bad here...they can move to Cuba. It's a free country, after all.

And don't forget that this is the pinko bitch who wanted to accept the money from that Saudi prince that Rudy G. told to fuck off when the Saudi dude blamed 9-11 on Israel and the Jews.

This woman is such a noisome dolt that the only appropriate synonym for her would be x-rated and this is a family blog. Let me just say that the word is number 4 on Carlins list of 7 dirty words.

By sheer happenstance, yesterday (Monday April 3) I got to listen to a radio broadcast of Belafonte and Glover's comments on their "support" of their "sister."
All I could think was: Qu'e comemierdas!
Do forgive the vulgarity, folks.
Another radio comentator observed that, had the congresswoman had the humility to recognize that she had messed up when she didn't intent to do it and that she was sorry about the whole thing, the rest of the world would have never heard about this incident.
But of course, given her background, we know that was a total impossibility.
Anybody believes that she will learn something useful from this situation?

I am from Georgia and I apologize for turning this critter loose on the country. Between her and Jimmy Carter, that's a set of boobs that put Dolly Parton to shame.

What you have to realize here is that this is an election year, and she's getting just exactly what she desires-free publicity. She couldn't buy all the press she's getting. And she's not above making a total ass of herself if it gets her name in the paper.

Here in Georgia, we call her the ropehead (now ex-ropehead) islebird, because she'll get to the house 6 to 10 hours early to make sure she has an isle seat when the President gives his SOTU address, just so she can be seen on TV greeting the Pres as he walks in. She has absolutely no shame whatsoever. And her race card has been issued in platinum, she uses it so much.

And she's also called a lot more things around here, but it can't be repeated in polite company.

I remember the McKinney family from the 1970s when her father Billy McKinney was head of the Afro-American Patrolman's League in Atlanta. He frequently appeared on TV spouting racist drivel. He later was elected to the Georgia General Assembly and got in trouble for pulling a knife on a fellow legislator during a debate - Billy denied it saying he didn't carry a knife, he carried a gun. He was later accused of hitting a gay-rights advocate inside Atlanta's City Hall. About a decade ago he was charged with threatening a federal witness - and fined $500.

Cynthia is commonly referred to as the cutest little communist in Congress, but she's not so cute anymore.

She lost her reelection bid in 2002 because of the long list of Islamic contributors. She, like Jimmy Carter, has never met a totalitarian she did not fall in love with. Billy popped off after her defeat and blamed it on, you guesssed it, the Jews.

Unfortunately, she's from one of those gerrymandered districts forced on Southern states by the Voters Rights Act, so we will probably never be rid of her.

Oh man! ¡Que pena!

Please be it known that we, the people of Georgia, absolutely despise this woman- she is totally wacko!

and anybody that enlists the help of castro-loving glover and belafonte is automatically on my black list (no pun intended ;) )...no that she wasn't already ....
