Nuestro Himno
Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Ahhh, I see. This is the Spanglish version, kind of conservative since you only translated the title. I was looking for the other version, though.

Gracias Val! Thank you for reminding cyberspace that just because you're 'brown' or 'red' doesn't mean you're illegal and refuse to speak English.

Thanks Val.....This Cuban/Puerto Rican family is doing ALL our shopping today May 1. To hell with those ñangaras. I love our "HIMNO" just the way it is.....in INGLES. What would the people on this Island think of Olga Tañon and Carlos Ponce if they DARED to record our own "La Borinqueña" in English???
