A few thoughts from Nostalgia early in day two

Each visitor to the Babalu booth brings their Cuban story with them. A small elderly woman, frail with years but with a heart of fire told us exactly what she thinks of che and company. She told how she used her wits to escape from a prison in the tyrants gulag. I don't have the words to describe the gut wrenching emotion I felt listening to her. And so it goes, the emails to fidel. The reaction to the dead che t-shirts. The questions about what Babalu is, what we do. I wish you could all be here with us. It's incredible.
