Pedro Pan

A gentlemn was at our exhibit just now, he picked up one to the Pedro Pan Organization pamphlets, read it, came up to me and said the following:

"Can you help me? I have two sisters who came via the Pedro Pan program."

"How can I help" I asked.

"I came to the US a few yeas ago," he replied. "I havent been able to find my sisters. Havent seen them since I was a child."

My knees buckled. "Follow me," I said and took him straight to the Pedro Pan Exhibit here at the Convention.

I truly hope they're able to reunite that family here in exile.
