Brokeback Birthday
This coming Saturday, reports the Washington Post, will be fidel castro's brother and successor to the throne raul castro's 75th birthday.
It's been rumored for many, many years that old raul is...how shall we say...a Brokeback Defense Minister, if you know what I mean.. So, a big and hardy happy birthday to the gay communist fuck, may it be your last.
Boy, what a party their gonna have in Cuba this weekend, what with raul's birthday and fidel expecting Evo Morales to drop by with a coca cake in celebration of his birthday last week.
Who knows, maybe Chavez will show up for a cameo in a french maids outfit and stilletto heels.

Photo shamelessly lifted from The Real Cuba.

If raulito plans to sit down and "have his cake and eat it, too," after brother fidel is gone... then he better be ready to eat fast.
Because he --and his "administration" won't last very long. I'd be surprised if they last just one month.
Yep, you heard it here first.
After fidel, the "transition" organism will last less than one month.
Because I think that *everyone* in Cuba, except maybe for the two despotic castro brothers, fully knows that the country needs a complete "borron y cuenta nueva" to get on with life.
In other words, in Cuba they all know that Communism doesn't work... it never has... and it never will. Therefore, something else is needed.
Cuba --and Cubans, both inside and outside the island-- know it, too.
So changes are a'coming, folks.
And we are not going to let any 75-year-old totalitarian stand in the way of change...

In certain capital markets circles, Hugo Chavez's nickname is - no kidding - Pinky. Something about a tutu and rose-colored ballet shoes.
Don't ask.

I am very sad b/c what I learned this morning,Guillermo Fariñas,a decent dissident, psycologist by training, and anti-castro by convictions is on the brink to die, just b/c he
is asking for Free internet Access to the cubans,he is feedin by cathether since january,he is very ill right now,the government has launched a campaing to "dilute" the international effect of this situation,I say that is outrageous,ma'n.
and on the other hand,a "famous"top analyst of cuban affairs in cia,he is teaching his 'foreseeing'about Cuba after fc passings,in my view,I am cuban, naturalized Dutch, who lived in Cuba for more almost 40 year and who know what the regimen is,I know the 'Unchangeable for ever"is one of the principles of FC Code and hsi brother, who will be by far his successor, apart of
his notorious toxic habits,he is an echo of fc,and he could never be more flexible or whatsoever,I think Mr. Latell could be on the same side of her forme collegue the today well known Cuba spy AnaBMontes.I think this blog should be uphold more the Fariñas case.

I always loved the story told by the late gay leftist beat poet Allen Ginsburg who in his naivety, traveled to Havana in the 60's thinking it was the hip thing to do. And was thrown out of the country for publicly protesting against Cuba's anti-marijuana stance and for jailing homosexuals and as he told a reporter: "Well, the worst thing I said was that I'd heard, by rumor, that Raul Castro [Fidel's younger brother] was gay. And the second worst thing I said was that Che Guevara was cute."
They sent him to communist Czechoslovakia and they threw him out too for being a subversive....

It's people like raul that give homosexuals a bad name.
