Aint no Birkenstocks in Cuba
How long do you think the fidel castro adulators in the photos shown here would last living in Cuba like a Cuban?
What complete ignorance.

Birkenstocks... exactly. Why is it that every Gringo that supports Castro is pasty white with long or messy hair? Professional malcontents.

It's "Springtime for castro", only these people mean it. Sickening. What's with the admiration for "longest reigning"? Aren't these hippy dropouts supposed to be for human rights and democracy? What are they suddenly radical royalists?

I can't get too worked out with them. They are just too phony and too funny. And they might think they are saving the world or something.

Aren't these the same people who put the "Free Tibet" bumperstickers on their Priuses??? I wouldnt ever expect any kind of coherence from the San Fransico ultra-liberal establishment.
Someone needs to take a firehose to these willful ignoramuses and wake them the hell up.

I don't get too mad anymore at these FOOLS. What's with that guy with the corn husks? Is he trying to resemble some type of cuban tamal???
But wouldn't it be funny what they would all say if GW Bush left office and called Jeb in to take his place???
I remember when Ronald Reagan said something to the effect that San Francisco was the craziest place in the Country. They continue to prove him right!

It was 1967, the summer of love. They came to San Francisco from all over the country and turned on, tuned in, and dropped out--of reality that is and they've never found their way back...they couldn't survive in LA, let alone Cuba.

Today they dance, tomorrow a war rally. These are professional haters of everything American. That is what happens also when you become a vegan and the taste and lust for life is given up.

I wonder if San Francisco Commissioner Gerardo Sandoval, who proclaimed repeatedly on a Hannity and Colmes segment that he didn't think The United States should have a military, attended this freakshow.
This is some pretty sick stuff. Then again, what else should we expect from San Francisco?

I just returned from SF. What a beautiful city.
Unfortunately these 60's era hippies want to ignore that it was capitalism that made their city great, not Castro style communism.
I say offer them a one-way ticket to "Fidel's paradise" to put up or shut up.

These wankers in the Bay Area did not even want a historic naval ship to be docked there because they were anti-military. As Sen. Miller said a few summers ago, people like these would have us defend ourselves with spitballs.
Of course the only reason that area is still around is because people continue to move there (birthrate would not have anything to do with it).
I'm surprised they haven't kicked out the 49'ers for playing too rough.
It's only a matter of time before they vote to replace old glory with the old hammer and sickle over there.
To do a remake of an old Merle Haggard song:
----------------
We don't smoke marijuana on Calle Ocho;
We don't take our trips on LSD
We don't burn old glory down on Flagler;
We like livin' right, and bein' free.
I'm proud to be a Cuban from Miami,
A place where Cubiches can have a ball ----
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse,
And Bacardi's still the biggest thrill of all
We don't make a party out of lovin';
We like holdin' hands and pitchin' woo;
We don't let our hair grow long and shaggy,
Like the stinky hippies out in San Francisco do.
And I'm proud to be a Cuban from Miami,
A place where Cubiches can have a ball.
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse,
And Bacardi's still the biggest thrill of all.
Leather boots are still in style for manly footwear;
Beads and birckenstocks won't be seen.
Football's still the roughest thing on campus,
And the kids here still respect the college dean.

Check out KRAZY KRISSY Keefer, founder of so-called dance brigade (WOW! ... hasta en esa estamos, she can't call it a dance troupe or ballet, she calls it una brigada ...)
If that isn't a picture of time standing still, I don't know what is. She left Woodstock after the concert and hasn't changed her clothes, taken a shower, or combed her hair since.
What utter losers. My biggest concern is for the brainwashing those young dancers are going through with this batty 60's retread directing the show.

In New York, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young performed at the grounds where Woodstock was held. They're on tour to spread there message of peace and their disdain for the President.
Head for the hills Mr. President! David Crosby is pissed off and he gunning for you!! These dinosaurs really crack me up!
Maybe Bob Dylan will find time to stop collecting royalties from Victoria's Secret to chime in as well. Then again, nowadays he just has enough trouble trying to talk!

Dino
Dylan was never a member of the 60's whacko bunch. He actually disdained it and refused to be considered a leader of some movemement. This led to split up between him and Baez (who was and is one of those whackos). Dylan actually is a fan of Barry Goldwater and is a real genius as compared to the other folks mentioned. Dylan's protest songs in the early 60's were really geared towards the times; fear of nuclear was (after the missile crises) and his support of the civil rights movement.
You should watch the DVD "No Direction Home" and read "Chronicals" . . . for more insight.
So please, don't group Bobby D. with these 60's retreads.
thank you.

I think they would last a fairly long time under Castro - literally *under* him, like a dog. They do a little dance and poetry reading, and look into the audience to see anybody alseep or yawning - they give that person up to the secret police. After all, their motto is, "By whatever means necessary."

Oops.. Posted this on the previous message... well, here it is again.
I would expect nothing less from the "People's republic of San Francisco" Even in the rest of liberal California they are considered out on the fringes.
Must be something in the water After all, it has the country's highest number of maricones y tortilleras....

I think these "brigade" morons just want attention. I was staring at the picture in shock. I almost spilled my cafecito reading the crap about how bad America is and how wonderful it is to celebrate the birth of a murderer, descarado, malparido..I could go on and on..I definitely do not want to show my Mom this. Her blood pressure is high enough as it is.

I couldn't even read the poem. This is just such bckwards thinking, and it seems to me as if this dumb....you know what....only put this little charade together because she's upset the Condalezza Rice is "bullying" Cuba and Castro. There's a reason why they're after Cuba and have been for the last 47 years! It's not all just for shits and giggles!

I know Jack Hirschman. He's a communist. (Of course). When I asked him about the millions of people Stalin ordered murdered he told me it was just "capitalist propaganda". Oh, and he's a total fake. A trust fund baby who extols the proleteriat who has never had to work a day in his life.
